PSYCROPTIC: In Writing Mode

June 19, 2007

Australian technical death metallers PSYCROPTIC have issued the following update:

"PSYCROPTIC have just returned from a short Australian tour and are now currently hard at work writing material for the as-yet-untitled new album. Live shows have been put on hold as the writing process is now the main priority and all energy is focused on this. It is hoped the band will enter the studio in late 2007 to record, with an early-to-mid-2008 release planned."

PSYCROPTIC's third full-length album, "Symbols of Failure", was released in February 2006 via Neurotic Records. The follow-up of 2003's "The Scepter of the Ancients" marks the recording debut of the band's new vocalist Jason Peppiatt.

PSYCROPTIC's video for the song "Epoch of the Gods", which was filmed by Lowlife Media at the Paris show of the "No Mercy" tour (where PSYCROPTIC supported CANNIBAL CORPSE, KATAKLYSM, LEGION OF THE DAMNED and GRIMFIST),can be viewed at this location.
