PUMP Part Ways With Drummer, Seek Replacement
March 25, 2006PUMP, the German heavy rockers featuring ex-BRAINSTORM singer Marcus Jürgens, have parted ways with drummer Achim Keller, who left the band to join the reformed VICTORY. "We feel sorry for his departure, but we wish him all the best and good luck in VICTORY," the group write in a statement.
PUMP are currently seeking a replacement drummer. If you feel you're the right person, please contact the band's management at [email protected]. "You don't have to be German, but you should have a passion for '80s U.S. heavy rock musically and visually," the band's statement adds. "You also should also be ready to work as hard as all the other members for the maximum of success."
PUMP's somophore album, "Breakdown to Breakthrough", was released earlier this month through AOR Heaven. The album was recorded at Area 51 studios with producer Tommy Newton (VICTORY, JADED HEART, CRYSTAL BALL).
