PYTHIA Taps JACOB HANSEN For Debut Album Mix

March 1, 2009

U.K. gothic power metallers PYTHIA have tapped Danish producer Jacob Hansen (MERCENARY, VOLBEAT, RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR) to mix and master their debut album, entitled "Beneath The Veiled Embrace". Tentatively due in the spring, the CD will feature a guest appearance by Brian Blessed.

PYTHIA features the classically trained soprano Emily Alice Ovenden (MEDIEVAL BAEBES, CELTIC LEGEND) alongside current and/or former members of U.K. death thrash band DESCENT, southern-fried metallers HEAD-ON and black metallers ABGOTT.

U.K. fans can catch PYTHIA live at The Camden Underworld, London on March 28 (with AMBERIAN DAWN) and at the Bloodstock Open Air festival in Derby August 14-16.
