Quebec's TROIS-RIVIÈRES METALFEST: 2009 Festival Dates Set

February 12, 2009

The ninth edition of the Trois-Rivières Metalfest — the only extreme metal festival in the province of Quebec, Canada — will take place on November 13-14 at the Batisse Industrielle, in Trois-Rivière. This venue has been homeground for the festival for the last two years and has proven to be a well-calculated move from the older venue which had a smaller capacity. The billing of this year's edition will be announced shortly.

Each year, the festival is offering a compilation CD with band-submitted tracks which is being handed out for free at the entry of the venue. A total of 1,000 copies are handed out each year.

Last year, the Trois-Rivières Metalfest festival took place on November 7-8 and featured performances by VOIVOD, CRYPTOPSY, KRISIUN and DYING FETUS, among many others.
