QUEEN Fan Gatherings For Detroit And Toronto Announced

May 11, 2007

QUEEN's smash hit musical "We Will Rock You" has been packing in the fans since March, and the red carpet premiere left most of those in attendance wanting more. A gathering of fans will take place in Toronto on Thursday, August 9, 2007 and will rolls into the Motor City on August 10-12, as the fans celebrate 20 years of North American QUEEN conventions. While not an official Breakthru, this is THE gathering in 2007 for QUEEN fans on this side of the pond. "Queen Will Rock US" promises to deliver a full schedule of the events you have come to expect and love (and perhaps a surprise or two) — including a swap meet, charity auction and raffle, lots of QUEEN music and videos (naturally),games and contests, and even dinner on Saturday night — all for only $59 per adult and teen ($21 for 5-12, 4 & under free). The venue for the Detroit portion is The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in suburban Farmington Hills / Novi, Michigan. All rooms are suites complete with refrigerator, microwave, two TVs, pullout sofa, and your choice of one or two beds at the special rate of $89 (+tax) per night.
