QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE: Entire 'KROQ Weenie Roast' Performance Posted Online
May 20, 2007Video footage of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's entire performance at the "KROQ Weenie Roast y Fiesta", which took place Saturday (May 19) at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California, has been posted at YouTube.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's video for their new track "Sick, Sick, Sick" has been posted at Yahoo! Music. The clip was shot in the Los Angeles area with director Brett Simon (SUM 41, LOSTPROPHETS). The song is the first single off the group's new album, "Era Vulgaris", which is due out on June 12. It follows up 2005's "Lullabies to Paralyze".
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE unveiled its new lineup at a last-minute surprise show in London on May 3. The group's latest incarnation now includes bassist Mikey Shoes, a.k.a. Michael Shuman, and guitar/keyboard player Dean Fertita.
Tracks from "Era Vulgaris" are slated to show up in the Madden 08 and NASCAR 08 video games, as well as both the upcoming Guitar Hero III and Rock Band.
The band has lined up some radio festival appearances and will begin a U.S. tour on July 23.
