QUEENSRŸCHE Frontman Completes Work On Solo CD, Early June Release Expected

QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate has completed work on his debut solo CD, entitled Old World Order, for an early June release through Sanctuary Records. Featuring contributions from bassist Chris Fox, guitarist Scott Moughton, drummer Evan Schiller, keyboardist Howard Chillcott and guitarist Jeff Carrell, Old World Order includes the following track listing:

In related news, QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Michael Wilton flew to Miami, Florida on Saturday, March 9th to participate in VH1's Fairway to Heaven '02 pro-am celebrity golf tournament. The annual Fairway to Heaven event benefits the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, which is dedicated to restoring music education programs in cities across America and raising awareness of the importance of music participation for our nation's youth. The eighth annual two-day golf event will be taped March 9-11 at the challenging Blue Monster course at The Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami. Fairway to Heaven '02 will air on a special three-hour edition of VH1's Top 18 Countdown, on Saturday, April 27th at 12:00 PM (ET/PT),featuring the 18 biggest music videos of the week, plus a celebrity guest, and highlights from the tournament and the celebrity golf skills competition.
