August 24, 2009

Fan-filmed video footage of QUEENSRŸCHE's August 1, 2009 performance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland can be viewed below (courtesy of "AynRand1021").

As previously reported, QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate has signed on to compose the film score for the noir-crime drama "Fallen Moon".

In addition to the score, Tate, a multi-platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, will compose several new songs for performance by characters in the film.

"Fallen Moon" is the tale of a New York City detective investigating the murder of his long-alienated daughter.

Peter Medak ("Romeo Is Bleeding", "The Krays") will direct the Do-Over Productions film from an original screenplay written by Jarrod Feliciano and Mirjana Novkovic. Feliciano, Novkovic and Valerie McCaffrey are producing, with Roger Pugliese co-producing.
