QUEENSRCHE Guitarist To Guest On New ALMAH Album

June 18, 2008

QUEENSRCHE guitarist Mike Stone has recorded a guest solo for one of the tracks on the forthcoming sophomore album from ALMAH, the side project of ANGRA members Edu Falaschi (vocals) and Felipe Andreoli (bass). According to ALMAH, "[Mike] was in Brazil doing shows with QUEENSRCHE and was kind enough to offer his great contribution. He recorded a beautiful solo in one song. In return all we could do was take him to one of the best burger places in Sao Paulo. He seemed to like it!"

ALMAH recently announced the lineup for the recording sessions for the group's sophomore album:

Edu Falaschi - Vocals
Felipe Andreoli - Bass
Marcelo Barbosa - Gutar
Paulo Schroeber - Guitar
Marcelo Moreira - Drums

ALMAH released its debut CD in the U.S. in July 2007 via Candlelight. The CD features guest appearances by drummer Casey Grillo (KAMELOT),guitarist Emppu Vuorinen (NIGHTWISH) and bassist Lauri Porra (STRATOVARIUS). It was mixed in Brazil by Grammy-winning producer Adriano Daga, who has worked with many artists during his career, including LENNY KRAVITZ and SILVERCHAIR.
