QUO VADIS: Video Footage From European Tour Posted Online

Canadian progressive tech-death metallers QUO VADIS have released a 10-minute videoblog (see below) to showcase their latest headlining European tour, the places they visited and their very dedicated fans. The footage includes live and backstage shots from Turkey, Romania, Croatia and France as well as some funny moments along the road.

Commented the band: "This was the very best, warmest, funniest tour we've ever done together — we had crazy fans, we saw beautiful exotic places, we played kickass, tight shows and we've bonded as a band in an unprecedented way."

In other news, QUO VADIS has announced the following U.S. shows:

June 10 - Buffalo, NY @ Club Diablo
June 11 - Baltimore, MD @ Sonar
June 12 - Allentown, PA @ The Sterling Hotel
June 13 - Brooklyn, NY @ Club Europa

All four shows will also feature REVOCATION and DARK FAITH.

QUO VADIS' current lineup includes the band's latest additions — bassist Roxanne Constantin (NEGATIVA, ROSTRUM, AVEN AURA),vocalist Trevor Birnie (DAMASCUS, ANNEX THEORY) and drummer Patrice Hamelin (MARTYR).

Roxanne has a B.A. in piano performance from the Montreal Conservatory of Music. Prior to taking the bassist position, she contributed keyboards and vocals to the band as well as help with choirs and different live shows. In the months leading up to the shows, Roxanne underwent a strenuous practice regimen of up to 10 hours a day dedicated to music.

"She is one of the best musicians QUO VADIS has ever had the opportunity to work with. Roxanne has also been strongly involved supporting the band since 2002 so it was a natural fit," QUO VADIS guitarist Bart Frydryhowicz previously said.

QUO VADIS last year posted a new track entitled "Equilibrium" on its MySpace page. According to the band, the song is "still a work in progress but we thought it sounded nice enough to give everybody a sneak peek."
