RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Confirmed For Scotland's T IN THE PARK

BBC News reports that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE has been announced as one of the headliners of this year's T in the Park in Scotland.

The festival is being held July 11-13 at Balado in Kinross-shire.

Other bands who will play over the three days include THE VERVE, REM, KINGS OF LEON, THE FRATELLIS, KAISER CHIEFS, and STEREOPHONICS.

It's a return to T for RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE — who played the very first event in Strathclyde Park in 1994.

Compared with just 2000 campers 15 years ago, 60,000 music fans are expected to create Scotland's 5th largest temporary town.

For the first time, a limited number of campers have permission to pitch tents a day early on July 10.

The first batch of around 40,000 "early bird" tickets sold out in less than 70 minutes.

The rest go on sale February 16 at 9:00 a.m.
