Italian metallers RAINTIME have issued the following update:

"We are proud to announce that [the sophomore RAINTIME album] 'Flies & Lies' will be released by four different labels around the world!! We just signed the first deal with Lifeforce Records for European countries. The forthcoming album is scheduled for a May 25th (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden),May 28th release (rest of territory)." RAINTIME has also signed with Replica Records (France) and Soundholic Records (Japan).

"Flies & Lies" was recorded and mixed Jailhouse studios in Horsens, Denmark with producer Tommy Hansen (HELLOWEEN, TNT, PRETTY MAIDS, FATE). Check out the title cut at www.myspace.com/raintime.

RAINTIME's debut album, "Tales from Sadness", was released in 2005 via Arise Records. The CD was produced by Luigi Stefanini and RAINTIME at New Sin Audio Design.

RAINTIME has been confirmed for the ProgPower USA VIII festival, set to take place October 5-6, 2007 at Center Stage Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. Also scheduled to appear are AFTER FOREVER, COMMUNIC, FIREWIND, PAGAN'S MIND, PRIMAL FEAR, REDEMPTION, SONATA ARCTICA, THRESHOLD and VIRGIN STEELE.
