RAM To Utilize NIFELHEIM Bassist For German Gigs
September 17, 2007Bassist Leif Larsson (ex-FROZEN EYES, NME WITHIN) will be unable to perform with the traditional Gothenburg, Sweden-based heavy metal band RAM at the group's German shows at the end of the month. Standing in for Larsson at the gigs will be Tyrant of the Swedish black metallers NIFELHEIM. The details are as follows:
Sep. 28 - Mannheim, GER @ 7er-club
Sep. 29 - Bitterfeld, GER @ Festung
As previously reported, RAM will participate in a six-way split 12" compilation. RAM recently spent time in the studio recording a track "which seems to be the longest piece of music recorded by the band so far," according to a press release. "The compilation is scheduled for an October/November release.
RAM released its full-length debut, "Forced Entry", in November 2005. The CD was recorded at Black Path studios and was mixed at Gothenburg's Brewhouse facility. Mastering duties were handled by Göran Finnberg.
