RAMMSTEIN, THROWDOWN Members To Guest On FULL METAL JACKIE's Radio Show

November 12, 2009

Guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe of RAMMSTEIN and Orange County, California's hardcore/metal act THROWDOWN will be the special guests on this weekend's (November 13-15) edition of Full Metal Jackie's nationally syndicated radio show.

According to Billboard.com, RAMMSTEIN's new album, "Liebe ist Für Alle Da" ("Love is For All"),was banned from public display in German stores with effect from November 11 on account of its depictions of sadism/masochism, which have been deemed to be harmful to children and young people.

Announcing this ruling, Petra Meier, the deputy president of the Federal Office for the Examination of Media Harmful to Young People, cited the track "Ich tue Dir Weh" ("I Want to Hurt You") as well as the artwork showing guitarist Richard Kruspe with a masked, naked woman on his knees.

THROWDOWN entered the studio on November 8 to record a cover version of an as-yet-undisclosed PANTERA song for a forthcoming "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott tribute album. The collection, which is being put together by a U.K.-based metal magazine to coincide with the five-year anniversary of Dimebag's passing, is expected to include additional cuts by MACHINE HEAD, CHIMAIRA, EVILE and THROWDOWN, among others

"Deathless", the new album from THROWDOWN, was released in the U.S. on November 10 through E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records). The CD, which will be made available in Europe on January 22, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records, was produced by Mudrock (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, GODSMACK, POWERMAN 5000) and was mixed by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who has previously worked with HATEBREED, THE RED CHORD and SHADOWS FALL, among others. The artwork was created by Ryan Clark of Invisible Creature and DEMON HUNTER.
