RATT: California, Nevada Dates Announced

Reactivated '80s rockers RATT have added several dates in California and Nevada in December.

The group's schedule is now shaping up as follows:

Oct. 25 - Riverwind Casino - Norman, OK
Oct. 28 - Teatro Caupolican - Santiago, Chile
Oct. 29 - Voce - Lima, Peru
Oct. 30 - Downtown Majestic - Bogota, Colombia
Nov. 01 - LedSlay - Sao Paolo, Brasil
Dec. 26 - House Of Blues - Hollywood, CA
Dec. 27 - House Of Blues - Anaheim, CA
Dec. 28 - House Of Blues - San Diego, CA
Dec. 30 - House Of Blues - Las Vegas, NV

According to a posting on RATT singer Stephen Pearcy's MySpace page, he and RATT guitarist and Warren DeMartini have started writing material for the band's next album, tentatively due in the summer of 2009.

Following weeks of rumors and speculation, RATT drummer Bobby Blotzer recently confirmed that former QUIET RIOT guitarist Carlos Cavazo has joined the group as the replacement for rhythm guitarist John Corabi (former MÖTLEY CRÜE singer).

Carlos played his first show with the band in Baton Rouge, Lousiana on August 27.
