RATT/Ex-QUIET RIOT Guitarist CARLOS CAVAZO To Guest On 'All Hail Hair'

April 29, 2010

Former QUIET RIOT and current RATT guitarist Carlos Cavazo will guest on this Friday's (April 30) edition of the "All Hail Hair" show on Blogtalk Radio between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST. Cavazo will talk to hosts Bob Carroll and Francis about his time with QUIET RIOT when they were the biggest band in the world and the first heavy metal group to score a No. 1 album on the Billboard chart, and his collaboration with RATT. Bob will explore Carlos' career, Cavazo's reaction to the death of QUIET RIOT frontman Kevin DuBrow and what it is like to be a former/current member of two of the '80s biggest groups.

"Infestation", the first studio record in 11 years from RATT, sold around 14,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 30 on the Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released on April 20 via Loud & Proud.

"Infestation" was produced by Elvis Baskette (CHEVELLE, ALTER BRIDGE) at his Virginia studio, marking the first time the band has recorded outside of Los Angeles. The album is full of attitude and of reflection, cycling through a range of emotions. There are party anthems that RATT are known for alongside more contemplative, thoughtful tunes.
