RATT Reunion In The Works?
December 4, 2006Vocalist Jizzy Pearl (LOVE/HATE) appears to have left RATT, the band he has fronted for the past six years following the departure of original singer Stephen Pearcy. In a Dec. 4, 2006 posting on his official web site, Pearl wrote, "It's time to go. Thanks to all the RATT fans for all the good times and good luck to the guys for the future."
Although there has been no official confirmation on the matter, it is believed that RATT's original/surviving members — Pearcy (vocals),bassist Juan Croucier, guitarist Warren DeMartini and drummer Bobby Blotzer — are planning to reunite for a tour in 2007. According to a posting on the Metal Sludge web site, rhythm guitarist John Corabi — who sang for MÖTLEY CRÜE on their self-titled 1994 album — will most likely stay with the group, whose last studio album came out in 1999.
