RAVENLAND Members Perform With MOONSPELL In São Paulo

December 4, 2009

At the last show of their South American tour in São Paulo, Brazil, Portuguese metallers MOONSPELL invited their friends in RAVENLAND to share the stage and sing two songs with them. The first to take the stage was Camilla Raven, who sang "Luna" with MOONSPELL frontman Fernando Ribeiro, and then, before the encore, Dewindson Wolfheart joined Fernando to sing the glorious "Alma Mater".

"We were very happy with this unexpected jam," stated Camilla Raven. "We were together in the backstage with MOONSPELL celebrating their last South American concert and this meeting with us."

"For me, singing with Fernando Ribeiro was a dream come true, because MOONSPELL was a great influence for me to create RAVENLAND in 1996," added Dewindsol Wolfheart. "We already had a great friendship, but only through Internet and letters, but this meeting was something really strong. Everyone in MOONSPELL is humble and nice. We exchanged gifts and had a good relationship like brothers of metal."

Fan-filmed video footage of the "Alma Mater" performance can be viewed below.
