RAVENLAND: Two New Songs Posted Online

June 23, 2009

Brazilian goth metallers RAVENLAND will release their new album, "...And A Crow Brings Me Back", at the end of July via Free Mind Records. The CD was produced by Ricardo Confessori (ANGRA, SHAMAN) and features guitar parts by Tommy Lindal (ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY).

"...And A Crow Brings Me Back" was mastered in Germany by Waldemar Sorychta (GRIP INC., MOONSPELL, LACUNA COIL, TIAMAT, SAMAEL),who was chosen because "he produced the best gothic metal albums which I have ever heard," according to RAVENLAND vocalist Dewindson Wolfheart.

Two songs from the album — "...till Death Unite Again" and "Velvet Dreams" (featuring Tommy Lindal) — are available for streaming on the band's MySpace profile.

José Luiz Peixoto, one of the most promising young fictionists from Europe who collaborated with MOONSPELL on their "The Antidote" album, wrote some texts inspired by RAVENLAND's band name and album title, which will be available on the CD's booklet. José met RAVENLAND's vocalists when he came to Brazil to promote his "Cemitério de Pianos" book.
