RE:IGNITION Close To Signing Record Deal

August 6, 2005

RE:IGNITION, the new band featuring SKINLAB members Steev Esquivel and Snake, have issued the following update:

"First off, tonight (August 6th) we will be playing our last show (w/ INSOLENCE, DEPSWA, PRIMATE, DISPLACE) before we head in and start a very intense pre-production schedule.

"As we've been telling you guys, things have been going pretty crazy in the RE:IGNITION camp. We've been talking with different labels and an assortment of producers over the last five months, [and] from what has looked to be a pretty foggy future, it's looking like we'll be heading into studio to begin recording our debut album!!

"Yup, that's right — we've narrowed things down with the labels situation. As we speak/type, negotiations are in place. It's bit early to announce the label. Let's just say we've been we are very excited of the possiblities that stand before us. If things go as planned, and the ink is set to paper, we should all see the RE:IGNITION debut in stores January-February 2006. Having said that, we will also be documenting the recording process on video, as well as shooting the video for 'Left Behind' that will be launched in the next few weeks alongside the new and improved RE:IGNITION website."
