Reactivated FAITH OR FEAR Signs With LOST AND FOUND RECORDS

February 21, 2009

Reactivated Philadelphia-area '80s thrash band FAITH OR FEAR has inked a deal with Lost And Found Records. The group has just finished recording new material and re-recording songs originally written in the mid-'80s for a new CD, "Instruments of Death", tentatively due in the spring. The set will also include recordings made in the late '80s and early '90s that never saw the light of day. Artwork will be created by the acclaimed thrash metal cover artist Ed Repka, who has previously worked with MEGADETH, MISFITS and DEATH, among others.

Formed in 1985, FAITH OR FEAR has played with many bands, including SEPULTURA, OVERKILL, DARK ANGEL, DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, WRATHCHILD AMERICA, FORBIDDEN, METAL CHURCH, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, CRUMBSUCKERS, NUCLEAR ASSAULT and BIOHAZARD. The band co-headlined an entire U.S. tour with SEPULTURA in November-December 1989 and also appeared on MTV's "Headbangers Ball" several times also in 1989-1990.

After an 18-year absence , all the original members of FAITH OR FEAR reformed in May 2008 and are currently playing live, featuring a setlist consisting of new and previously released material.

The band's next appearance is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 at the Cherrywood in Clementon, New Jersey.
