REAKTOR Launch Drummer Search

May 25, 2006

Portugal's REAKTOR (formerly known as RE:AKTOR) have launched a worldwide search for a new drummer. Since the amicable split with Cato Bekkevold (currently in ENSLAVED) in 2003, REAKTOR have been touring with drummers Daniel Cardoso (ex-SIRIUS, HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM) and Cyph.

REAKTOR are currently working on the follow-up to their debut album, "Zero Order" (released in 2003 via Nuclear Blast Records),despite the lack of a permanent drummer. "The cards are on the table and the outlook is good," the band's mastermind, Nexion K., said in a statement. "We've been writing some new stuff down for a while, but we certainly didn't want to force or rush things. We've been through some difficult times, but it's safe for me to say that you'll be hearing from us soon!"
