RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS Postpone Shows As ANTHONY KIEDIS Battles Bronchitis

March 2, 2017

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have been forced to postone three concerts on their current tour while singer Anthony Kiedis is battling bronchitis. The band revealed via its web site that their shows in Denver, Glendale and San Diego will be rescheduled for later this year. The San Diego gig will now take place on March 21, while the Denver show will be held on October 16 and the Glendale concert on October 18. All previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new dates.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS said in a statement: "We are so sorry that we cannot come to Denver, Glendale and San Diego as planned. Anthony has been fighting off the bronchitis all week and still needs a few more days to recover. We are sorry for any inconvenience to our fans and look forward to seeing you."

The group is next scheduled to play a trio of hometown Los Angeles shows at Staples Center on March 7, March 8 and March 10.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are touring in support of the band's recently released eleventh studio album, "The Getaway". The disc, which debuted at No. 1 around the world when it was released back in June, features the chart-topping single "Dark Necessities".
