REDEMPTION Begins Filming 'Bleed Me Dry' Video

July 5, 2007

REDEMPTION — the Los Angeles-based progressive metal band led by guitarist/songwriter Nicolas van Dyk and featuring vocal legend Ray Alder of FATES WARNING — has issued the following update:

"Three weeks from yesterday we play our first show in support of DREAM THEATER on this summer's tour, and we are in the middle of rehearsals which are going very well indeed! Also, yesterday we shot the band portions of our upcoming video for 'Bleed Me Dry' with the director Marcos Efron, who has done videos for a number of established and new artists and is making waves in the short firms circuit.

"We're doing the conceptual part of the video next weekend, and look forward to getting it up for you all to see as soon as possible.

"Lastly, we will be having an open rehearsal somewhere in Los Angeles a few days before the first show of the tour...more information as the date draws near."

REDEMPTION released its third CD, "The Origins of Ruin", on April 3 via Inside Out Music. The CD follows up 2005's breakthrough release "The Fullness of Time", the band's first with FATES WARNING frontman Ray Alder, which generated tremendous critical and popular acclaim. With Bernie Versailles (guitars, AGENT STEEL),Chris Quirarte (drums, PRYMARY) and new bass player Sean Andrews (who performed on Henning Pauly's CHAIN project),REDEMPTION is one of the most prominent up-and-coming progressive metal bands.
