REMEMBERING NEVER Announce Headlining Tour
January 10, 2006REMEMBERING NEVER have announced the first of many headlining tours to come in 2006, this one to be supported by RAMALLAH, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR and SUFFOCATE FASTER.
REMEMBERING NEVER have a long history in the hardcore scene, and their sound can be described as fierce, chaotic hardcore with melodic overtones and steadfast socio-political themes. The band are poised to release their new album, "God Save Us", in February on Ferret Music. The record promises to be the heaviest sounding to date, while balancing out personal lyrics with the world views of the band. An example of this is in the song "The Goddam Busy Signal", which deals with gay rights for marriage, and "Selma", which utilizes the main character in the movie "Dancer in the Dark" to speak of the strength of a woman, which are two topics not usually addressed in hardcore.
REMEMBERING NEVER has sold over 35,000 copies of their previous album, "Women and Children Die First", according to Nielsen SoundScan. They have toured in the past with a large roster of heavy-hitters, including ZAO, TERROR, THROWDOWN, and IT DIES TODAY. The band just finished up a music video for the song "Con Artist", directed by Dave Brodsky (HATEBREED, 12 TRIBES, JUELZ SANTANA).
