Report: Rockers Go Wild Over 'Air Guitar' For Headbangers

According to UK's Daily Star, an "air guitar" for bedroom rockers is being tipped as the best-selling toy at Christmas.

The Guitar RockStar uses laser technology to turn headbangers' pretend chords into real sound.

The state-of-the-art toy comprises just the head and neck of an electric guitar.?But by strumming the invisible infra-red strings, rockers can thrash out their favourite metal anthems.

Or they can play along to the machine's pre-programmed classics, including DEEP PURPLE's "Smoke On The Water" and "I Love Rock N' Roll" by JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS.
