REQUIEM AETERNAM: New Album Title Announced
October 11, 2008Melodic black metal band REQUIEM AETERNAM — originally from Uruguay but most recently based in Tampa Bay, Florida — has issued the following update:
"The name of the third LP by REQUIEM AETERNAM is 'Destiny-Man', the same denomination of the second book by Jose Romero Sum, in view of the fact that the eight lyrics of this record are not only based on this opus, they are going to be included in it as poems. As it was already mentioned, the ten tracks are inspired — not based — on ten classical composers, including Takemitsu, Beethoven, Mozart, Piazzolla, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Gershwin, Chopin, Paganini and Villa-Lobos. It has also been confirmed that a new lineup was established for this upcoming recording. The studio and the starting date are to be published very shortly."
REQUIEM AETERNAM's latest album, "Philosopher", was released in North America in December 2004 via ICorp. "Philosopher" was recorded at Big Blue Meenie studios and features a guest appearance by drummer Alex Hernández (IMMOLATION).
