August 9, 2007

Virginia thrash metal legends AT WAR are set for their much-anticipated return. After 15 years of waiting, the original lineup of AT WARPaul Arnold (bass/vocals),Dave Stone (drums),and Shawn Helsel (guitar) — will play its first show in 15 years on August 26 at the World War IV Thrash Metal Festival at Club Europa in Brooklyn, New York. AT WAR will co-headline the event with EARLY MAN along with eight other bands, including MERCILESS DEATH.

AT WAR has been rehearsing for this show and an upcoming all-new CD since October of 2006. Expect the new AT WAR album to be released in the spring of 2008.

Commented Arnold: "The fan base surge became so great we felt we owed it to them and ourselves to get back in the fray. It's time we gave the young thrash bands of today a taste of how the music they love so much is really done!"
