Reunited Death Metallers BRUTALITY To Record New Album
October 10, 2003Reunited Tampa death metallers BRUTALITY have worked out their differences with Poland's Still Dead Productions and are scheduled to enter the studio during October/November to record their as-yet-untitled new album for an early 2004 release.
The group's recording lineup will consist of the following:
Scott Reigel - Lead Vocals
Jeff Acres - Bass/Vocals
Mausolus Arguelles Von Kiszka - Vocals/Guitars
Demian Heftel - Lead Guitars
Jim Coker – Drums
Former drummer Don Gates has also been working on a new song with the band and is expected to contribute to the upcoming CD.
A three-song demo was completed in June with the above lineup containing the songs "As Darkness Falls", "I Deny", and "Ashes and Snow". All three cuts, along with "Brutality" and "Gates of Thorn", will be re-recorded for the album. There are also two or three new songs in the works to complete a full-length release.
For a limited time only, BRUTALITY are making their June 2003 three-song demo available for purchase via their official web site. For the next few weeks, the band are offering to send a copy of the same package they've been sending to record labels — a three-song CD (album quality),an 8x10" black-and-white photo, and an 8x11" lyric sheet — to anyone that sends $10 (U.S.) or $13 (rest of the world) to the following address (make checks/money orders payable to "William Sapp", not BRUTALITY):

In related news, BRUTALITY side-project ASTAROTH, who are also due to record an album for Still Dead Productions, are currently looking for a drummer to sit in on the band's upcoming recording sessions. The group, whose musical style is said to be similar to that of old Swedish bands like CARNAGE, UNLEASHED and old ENTOMBED, are looking for someone that lives in the Tampa Bay area and has his/hew own transportation and drum kit. Interest parties should call (813) 933-2312.
