Reunited INNER SANCTVM To Record New Album

August 22, 2009

Uruguay-based metallers INNER SANCTVM have reunited and are preparing record their second album, tentatively due in early 2010.

The band's current lineup — Heber W. Hammer (guitar),Alvaro García (drums) and Francisco Martín (bass) — will enter a Madrid, Spain studio in September to track the drums for the as-yet-untitled effort, which will contain eight new songs and two covers — "Judas Song" from the soundtrack to the "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Midnight Queen" by SARCOFAGO (Brazil).

This won't be the first time that INNER SANCTVM will have covered a song from a soundtrack, having previously recorded a version of "Somebody Super Like You" from Brian De Palma's "Phantoms Of The Paradise" (1974) for their 1994 debut album, "Frozen Souls".

Heber is the only member of INNER SANCTVM still living in South America.

"The Frozen Soul" is being streamed in its entirety on the band's MySpace page.
