Reunited ONSLAUGHT To Guest On ARFM's 'Simon Gausden's Extreme Zone'

Three members of the reformed lineup of the classic U.K. thrash outfit ONSLAUGHTSy Keeler (vocals),Nige Rockett (guitars),and Steve Grice (drums) — will be the featured guests on the "Simon Gausden's Extreme Zone" show on Britain's ARfm radio on Saturday, January 14 between 9:00 p.m. and midnight (U.K. time). As previously reported, ONSLAUGHT have been confirmed for this year's installment of the Bloodstock Festival, set to take place September 29-30 at the Assembly Rooms in Derbyshire, England. Also scheduled to perform at the festival are PRIMAL FEAR, MACHINE MEN, OMNIUM GATHERUM, DIED SMILING, ENEMY UNKNOWN, BEYOND AFTERLIFE and STEEL TORMENTOR. About 25 bands in total are expected to appear at the event.

ONSLAUGHT are continuing work on the material for their new studio album, "Killing Peace", tentatively due later in the yeart via an as-yet-undetermined label. The band's current lineup is completed by bassist James Hinder and the group's latest addition, guitarist Alan Jordan (ex-MIRROR MIRROR, FRANKENSTEIN).

ONSLAUGHT recorded three albums in the late 1980s — including the underrated "In Search of Sanity" (1989, Polydor),featuring ex-GRIM REAPER frontman Steve Grimmett — before calling it a day.
