REVENANCE Signs Publishing Deal With SALEM ROSE MUSIC

September 10, 2008

Salem Rose Music Publishing has announced its cooperation with Long Island, New York's REVENANCE. The extremely brutal death metal group emerged in 2003 and has since laid down a punishing mix of pain-inducing riffs, slamming breakdowns and obscenely guttural vocals. Having released one album, "Omen of Tragedy", on Permeated Records in 2006, REVENANCE's new demo will be shopped by Salem Rose soon in order to secure a new deal for the band.

Salem Rose Music began last year as a management company handling the affairs of WARBRINGER. This year the company has added additional facets by administering the music publishing of inspiring new bands like HEXEN and DEVASTATOR, producing the new disc from 13 MILES, as well as handling independent publicity. The company began as a creative outlet for industry vet Marco Barbieri, Century Media's President for 12 years and former Metal Blade employee as well as the editor of Ill Literature magazine. Last year Marco resigned from Century Media and returned to Las Vegas to pursue another career path, but his love of metal continues and he is inspired to assist young bands in their ambitions in his spare time.

REVENANCE had this to say about the new relationship, "We're very excited to be working with somebody who has made such an impact in the metal industry. Marco has been a pleasure to work with thus far and we expect great things from our partnership."
