REVEREND To Embark On 'Resurrection Tour' In August

REVEREND have announced plans to embark on the "Resurrection Tour" beginning in late August. The trek will kick off in Fort Worth, Texas, with REVEREND headlining the "Rockers Against Hunger" food drive on August 26. The tour will return REVEREND to late REVEREND/METAL CHURCH frontman David Wayne's hometown of Zillah, WA to headline the Evergreen MusicFest on Saturday, September 9. Upcoming REVEREND dates now include:

Aug. 26 - Fort Worth, TX @ The Engine Room
Sep. 02 - Austin, TX @ (venue to be announced)
Sep. 08 - Casper, WY @ (venue to be announced)
Sep. 09 - Zillah, WA @ Evergreen MusicFest
Sep. 11 - Anaheim, CA @ (venue to be announced)
Sep. 13 - Phoenix, AZ @ (venue to be announced)
Sep. 15 - Denver, CO @ (venue to be announced)

As previously reported, REVEREND have announced the addition of singer Michael Lance to the group's ranks.

Wayne died on May 10, 2005 due to complications from injuries he sustained in a head-on automobile accident several months earlier. He was 47 years old.
