RHYTHM Magazine Unveils 'Ultimate Metal Drum Lesson'

Rhythm magazine has released a new issue packed full of advice on how to follow in the footsteps of metal's greatest drummers.

The May 2010 issue of Rhythm, on sale now, includes the "Ultimate Metal Drum Lesson," featuring tips and tricks from heavyweights such as Vinnie Paul Abbott (HELLYEAH, PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN), Chris Adler (LAMB OF GOD), Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT) and Dave Lombardo (SLAYER).

The magazine also features two pages of music notation charting double-kick grooves and fills, blastbeats and more, plus all you need to know about the gear required to play hard and heavy.

Not only that, but BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's Michael "Moose" Thomas talks about how to make it in metal, 30 SECONDS TO MARS drummer Shannon Leto discusses getting an epic sound and Bill Rymer gives the lowdown on joining THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.

After reading all about how to be a metal legend, you can put it all into practice by using this month's Rhythm CD to learn how to play RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's "Bombtrack", "A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation" by TRIVIUM and WEEZER classic "My Name Is Jonas".
