April 29, 2010

The "Iron City Rocks" podcast (web site) recently conducted an interview with vocalist/guitarist Richie Kotzen (formerly of POISON and MR. BIG). The chat is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

Video footage of Kotzen's performance at the LÂG Guitars party during this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 14-17, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, can be viewed below.

Kotzen's latest album, "Peace Sign", was released in Japan on September 9, 2009.

Check out audio samples on Richie's MySpace page.

Richie Kotzen's first-ever live DVD, "Bootlegged In Brazil", was released in Europe on December 5, 2008 via Frontiers Records.

Richie Kotzen's sound is influenced by such classic artists as BAD COMPANY, FREE, early VAN HALEN and CREAM. They are the inspiration for his songs, but having deep Philadelphia roots, Kotzen tends to combine rock with the Motown influences he heard as a kid, offering the fans a soulful and timeless approach to the music.
