RIDE FOR DIME 2006 Details Announced

JEKYLLS HYDE (Levittown, Pennsylvania),ASKA (Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas),LEVEL-C (Cleveland, Ohio) and DIESEL (Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas) will take part in the Ride For Dime 2006 — a one-day event which consists of a 52-mile motorcycle run in the morning followed by a live concert in Arlington, Texas. Tickets will go on sale online and at selected locations throughout Texas by mid-May. Advance tickets are $15 plus a service charge. Tickets the day of the event will be $20. A posting on the Ride For Dimeweb site reads as follows:

"If you are participating in the motorcycle run, we will be meeting at the world famous Clubhouse located at 2250 Manana Dr. Dallas Texas, 75220 at 8:00 AM. The ride will depart at 10:00 AM sharp on the 52-mile police-escorted route to Arlington, Tx. This route will take us past the cemetery where Dime is buried. As we pass the cemetery gates we will once again this year toss flowers as we pass the gates. We will not be going through the cemetery! Precautions will be in place to prevent any riders from entering. The ride will end at approximately 11:15 AM at Cowboys at 2540 Abram St, Arlington Texas 76010. This will conclude the ride portion of the event. The concert will begin at 11:30 AM and will feature [the above-mentioned acts]. The headline band will be announced around mid-May. The Ride For Dime event will conclude at 5:30 PM."
