RIGOR MORTIS Planning 25th-Anniversary Shows, New Full-Length Album

January 4, 2011

Texas thrash metal veterans RIGOR MORTIS will celebrate their 25th anniversary this year with several special shows. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

Feb. 11 - Clicks Live - Tyler, Texas,
Feb. 12 - The Rail Club - Ft. Worth, Texas
Feb. 13 - Headhunters - Austin, Texas

Possible dates in San Antonio, Houston, Oklahoma City and New Orleans will follow in March and April.

For these 25th-anniversary shows, RIGOR MORTIS will play all of its self-titled debut album except for one song plus classic tracks from the band's other two releases, "Freaks" and "Rigor Mortis Vs. The Earth".

RIGOR MORTIS lineup:

Mike Scaccia - Guitar
Casey Orr - Bass/Vocals
Harden Harrison - Drums
Bruce Corbitt - Vocals

In other news, RIGOR MORTIS will record two new songs in February. These will be the first songs this lineup has recorded together since the band's 1988 self-titled debut album. The groups plans to write and record enough songs in the upcoming months for a future full-length release.
