RING OF FIRE: European Release Date Set

January 24, 2003

RING OF FIRE, the new group led by former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN frontman Mark Boals, will release the European version of their new album, "Dreamtower", on March 24 through Frontiers Records. The European version will feature a different mix from the Japanese release and will include its own bonus track from the "Dreamtower" sessions. The track is called "Undone" and was written by Mark and former keyboardist Vitalij Kuprij.

Meanwhile, Boals' management have issued the following statement regarding the selection of a new keyboardist for RING OF FIRE:

"Since the keyboardist spot in RING OF FIRE became available, we've been inundated with names of talented players that either contacted us directly or were recommended. Choosing one from those talented and promising musicians has proven to be quite a task. At this stage, the members and those working with the band have been carefully considering candidates for the keyboardist spot in RING OF FIRE, and further considering a select few in this final stage. Thank you to those who applied with great enthusiasm, and thanks to those who recommended some great keyboardists! And special thanks to the RING OF FIRE fans for supporting the band as always and waiting patiently for the news on who the new keyboardist will be!"
