RISE TO ADDICTION Begins Recording New Album
June 16, 2008RISE TO ADDICTION the UKbased band which features in its ranks former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar) has just entered the studio to begin recording its sophomore album for a late 2008 release. Singer Leigh Oates states, "We've ended up with 10 songs that we're all really happy with, I know it sounds a bit clich but we really think that these songs are the best work any of us have ever put our name to." Songtitles set to appear on the self-produced CD include "Fade Away", "Fallen From Grace", "Home", "Indelible", "Numb", "One More Time", "Outside", "Scars We Wear", "Sick Of Me" and "The Whisper".

"One Sweet Minute" comes off RISE TO ADDICTION's debut album, "A New Shade of Black for the Soul", which was released in the U.S. on October 9, 2007 via Mausoleum Records. The CD, which came out in May 2007 in Europe via Mausoleum, was produced by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM, MEGADETH).
