RISE TO ADDICTION: Debut Album Artwork Available
February 27, 2007The cover artwork of RISE TO ADDICTION's debut album, "A New Shade of Black for the Soul", is available for viewing at this location.
RISE TO ADDICTION features in its ranks former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar). "A New Shade of Black for the Soul" was produced by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM, MEGADETH) and is scheduled for release in May via the legendary Belgian metal label Mausoleum Records.
RISE TO ADDICTION, whose music is described as a distinctive modern sound with melody and slab heavy riffing, released its self-titled EP in 2005 through Madman Records. Also produced by Andy Sneap, it features three tracks — "Falling As One", "Everlasting Wave", "To A God Unknown" — and also includes the promo video for the EP's opening track.
As previously reported, RISE TO ADDICTION has been confirmed for the 2007 edition of the Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place July 6-7 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.
RISE TO ADDICTION has been confirmed as the support act for legendary Chicago doomsters TROUBLE on their upcoming European tour beginning in late May.
