RISE TO ADDICTION To Tour U.K. With HYDROGYN

RISE TO ADDICTION — the British band which features in its ranks former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar) — will support U.S. rockers HYDROGYN on their upcoming U.K. tour in April. Confirmed dates are as follows:

April 21 - London, UK @ The Gaff
April 22 - Leicester, UK @ Leicester Square
April 23 - Crewe, UK @ Limelight
April 24 - Bradford, UK @ Gasworks
April 25 - Newcastle, UK @ Legends

RISE TO ADDICTIONLeigh Oates (vocals),John Slater (guitar),Steve Wray (guitar),Joel Graham (bass guitar) and Aynsley Dickinson (drums) — is close to completing the follow-up to the band's 2007 debut album, "A New Shade Of Black For The Soul". The U.K. tour will see the group debuting new material from the CD, which is expected to have a late 2009 release. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "The Whisper", "Scars We Wear" and "Morphine".

"A New Shade Of Black For The Soul" was released through Belgian label Mausoleum Records and was mixed by acclaimed metal producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, MACHINE HEAD).
