ROB ZOMBIE, A PERFECT CIRCLE To Contribute New Recordings To 'Resident Evil' Soundtrack

MTV.com is reporting that ROB ZOMBIE and A PERFECT CIRCLE will contribute new recordings to the soundtrack to the movie "Resident Evil: Apocalypse", which comes out August 24 through Roadrunner Records. Other artists signed on for the disc include SLIPKNOT, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and LACUNA COIL, according to a spokesperson for the project. The movie, which hits theaters on October 1, features the return of Milla Jovovich as Alice, a woman who joins forces with a group of others against a horde of flesh-eating zombies. Released in March 2002, the soundtrack to the first "Resident Evil" included songs by MARILYN MANSON, SLIPKNOT and FEAR FACTORY.
