ROBERT PLANT Donates Artwork To Paint4Poverty Charity
September 15, 2007LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant has donated artwork to the Paint4Poverty charity which takes place later this month. Online bidding will end on October 11 at 5 p.m. GMT, and the artwork will then be auctioned at Bath's Guildhall, in England, on October 13. All web bids will be listed with the auctioneer and included in the final sale.
The event is being organized by Prime Arts in Partnership in association with Robin Hood Ministries.
Its goal is to help relieve extreme poverty across the world and all monies raised will go to supporting various relief projects in Romania, Tanzania, India, and Nepal.

As previously reported, the surviving members of LED ZEPPELIN have confirmed they will reform for a special show at London's 22,000-capacity O2 arena on Monday, November 26 as part of a tribute to Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun, who died last December.
