ROBERT PLANT: 'Nine Lives' Box Set Pushed Back To November
August 26, 2006Launch Radio Networks reports: Robert Plant's post-LED ZEPPELIN career will get boxed on November 14 with the release of "Nine Lives" (cover). The package will have all of Plant's solo albums, as well as a DVD with music videos, interviews, and bonus footage.
Each of the albums — "Pictures At Eleven" (1982),"The Principle Of Moments" (1983),"The Honeydrippers Volume One" (1984),"Shaken 'N' Stirred" (1985),"Now And Zen" (1988),"Manic Nirvana" (1990),"Fate Of Nations" (1993),"Dreamland" (2002),and "Mighty Rearranger" (2005) — have been remastered, and they're now expanded with rare and unreleased live and studio tracks.
The DVD has 20 music videos, live performance footage, and a career-spanning interview with Plant, as well as interviews with friends including Phil Collins, singer-songwriter Tori Amos, tennis star John McEnroe, and former Atlantic Records President Ahmet Ertegun, among others.
The only show on Plant's itinerary is The Sunflower Jam, a benefit in London on September 14 that will also feature DEEP PURPLE drummer Ian Paice and former PURPLE keyboardist Jon Lord.
