ROCKETS TO RUIN: Straight-Ahead, High-Energy Southern Rock 'N' Roll
February 5, 2004Former PIECE DOGS guitarist Mike Grimmett has formed a new Atlanta, Georgia-based band called ROCKETS TO RUIN. Influenced by groups such as KISS, THE CULT, GUNS N' ROSES, RAMONES, and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, ROCKETS TO RUIN play straight-ahead, high-energy rock 'n' roll. The band, whose lineup is completed by vocalist Cleveland (formerly of SUPERCONDUCTOR),bassist Chris Taylor (formerly of LOVE STAR 69 and SUPERMATIC) and drummer Jake Keller (formerly of BLACK GOLDSTEIN),are currently playing shows in the Atlanta area and will be heading into the studio within the next couple of months.
