ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL: Major Band Announcement Coming This Month

January 7, 2010

According to the MySpace page of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour, a "big band announcement" for this year's edition of the travelling festival will be made on Wednesday, January 20.

The following acts are **RUMORED** to be taking part in this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival:

LAMB OF GOD
HATEBREED
CHIMAIRA
WINDS OF PLAGUE
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH
KORN
ROB ZOMBIE

***IMPORTANT***: None of the above-listed bands have been officially announced as taking part in the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. This information should therefore be treated as a rumor only.***

KORN drummer Ray Luzier revealed in a fall 2009 interview with Unwired TV that the band might headline this year's edition of the Rockstar Energy tour. HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta told Metal Mark of SkullsNBones.com on November 16, 2009, "We're gonna be on a very big summer tour, which I just can't say just yet, but most people will probably guess."

Last year's installment of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival featured SLAYER, MARILYN MANSON, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, BEHEMOTH, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, JOB FOR A COWBOY and more.

The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival is the brainchild of Kevin Lyman, John Reese and CAA's Darryl Eaton, the creative team behind some of the industry's most successful road jaunts, including the long-running Vans Warped Tour and the worldwide Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour.
