ROSS THE BOSS Performs With Guest Singers In Athens; Video Available
May 15, 2009On May 11, former MANOWAR guitarist Ross "The Boss" Friedman was forced to perform at Texas Necropolis in Athens, Greece without his singer Patrick Fuchs who came down with the flu. The band and the promoters decided to go on with the show, with several Greek singers making guest appearances during a set that consisted of nothing but MANOWAR songs.
Fan-filmed footage of the band performing the tracks "Shell Shock" and "Manowar" with Trampakoulas from the Greek band ANORIMOI on vocals can be viewed below.

Ross was presented with a commemorative plaque for his 35-year career in music by Nikos Athineos, a rock DJ and presenter on the "Stargazer" metal radio show, one of the longest-running metal radio programs in the world. The award presentation was held on stage at the Notos Club in Chania, Crete on Friday, May 8 at the conclusion of Ross' headlining performance at the venue.
Ross' new album, "New Metal Leader", was released last August via AFM Records.
