ROYAL HUNT To Begin Mixing New Album Next Week

March 8, 2005

Danish hard rockers ROYAL HUNT have posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"The recording of ROYAL HUNT's new album is coming to an end — very last touches are being put down as we speak. The process which took 14 months of studio time, countless miles of international flights, gallons of sweat-blood'n tears and even more gallons of Jack Daniels is almost over.

"The CD will contain 10 songs (no concept this time) and clocks at just a bit over 50 minutes. Mixing will start in the middle of March in the legendary EMI/Medley Studio in Copenhagen with André [Andersen, keyboards] and Lars Overgaard behind the board.

"During some 'pre-'listening parties (the band and the management held quite a few in the last couple of weeks) the responses from the journalists and some very fortunate fans were overwhelming: almost everybody agreed on one thing ... that this is THE most energetic, inspiring ROYAL HUNT release ever!"

As previously reported, ROYAL HUNT were recently rejoined by former drummer Kenneth Olsen, who last recorded with the group on the double live album, "1996". The band's as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2003's "Eyewitness" is due in late spring/early summer through Frontiers Records.
