RUSH Drummer Featured On Cover Of BMW ON Magazine

According to a posting on the RUSH fan site Power Windows, RUSH drummer Neil Peart is featured on the cover of the April 2005 issue of BMW ON magazine (cover photo taken onstage by Andrew MacNaughtan at Radio City Music Hall in New York City in 2004). The magazine includes an interview with Peart titled "Motcycling: The Perennial Gift", and can be read here.

BMW ON editors commented on their decision to feature Peart in the magazine: "Neil Peart, our cover man this month, is what Coca-Cola would call, 'the real thing.' As the drummer for the rock band RUSH, you might assume his BMW motorcycle is for show only… a prop suiting his celebrity status. But Neil is a fellow rider, BMW MOA member and motorcycle enthusiast who forgoes riding his band's big rig while on tour for his BMW GS. And although music is his career, his greatest talent may be in his ability to connect with other riders in his writings."
