RUSH: Drums-Only Version Of 'Main Monkey Business' Available
June 7, 2007RUSH drummer Neil Peart's web site has been updated with a "drums-only" version of the new track "Main Monkey Business". Just enter the site here and use the embedded player to listen. The song appears on RUSH's new album, "Snakes & Arrows", which has sold 160,000 copies in the United States since its May 1 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
In other news, RUSH has announced that it will play Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday, September 17, 2007. This will be the last U.S. date on the band's "Snakes & Arrows" tour. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. EST and will be available through Ticketmaster.com.
RUSH's 18th studio album, "Snakes & Arrows", debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart with sales of 93,000 copies. The disc is the first collection of all-new RUSH material since 2002's "Vapor Trails" and the 27th RUSH release to make the Billboard album chart. The band's chart peak was in 1993, when "Counterparts" debuted at No. 2.
